Who is ARF?

The Animal Rescue Foundation is a non-profit group in Mobile, Alabama that was founded in 1995.  We are devoted to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing homeless and abandoned animals. We provide all intakes with wormer, shots up-to-date, spaying/neutering, any necessary medical treatment to provide a healthy, adoptable pet, and of course shelter, food/water and love. All our dogs are on Heartworm preventative as well as other parasite preventatives.

We screen possible adoptive homes in order to find quality families to adopt these survivors. We operate solely on public volunteers and donations.

We believe these precious souls are to be given the respect of any other God-given life on our planet. Please join us in our mission to provide an animal-loving community!

Kick off your shoes, have a seat, and look around our site to find your next best friend!

Our Mission

Kindness~ Safety~ Control

To help the abandoned, lost and abused animals of Mobile and the surrounding area. By doing this we are caring for those who can't care for themselves, (kindness) we are taking them off the streets (safety) and providing spay/neuter to stop the growing population of stray animals (control).

Our Goals

We will provide food, shelter and medical care for all animals we take in.

We will remove stray animals from the streets.

We try to make everyone aware of how important it is to spay/neuter their pets.
